Andy Lee is an Australian comedian, writer, and television and radio personality. He was born on May 24, 1981, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Lee rose to fame as one half of the comedy duo Hamish and Andy, alongside his long-time friend Hamish Blake.
The duo’s comedy work spans over two decades, including radio shows, TV programs, and live tours. They have won multiple awards for their work, including five Logie Awards for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television, and three People’s Choice Awards for Australia’s Favourite Comedy Show.
Lee has also had success outside of his work with Hamish Blake. He has hosted his own TV show, The Gap Year, and has made guest appearances on various other programs. He is also a regular contributor to Australian radio, hosting a show on the Hit Network with his Hamish and Andy co-star.
