Caitlin Bassett is an Australian netball player, born on May 23, 1988, in Perth, Western Australia. She has represented the Australian Diamonds, the country’s national netball team, since 2008, and is one of the most successful and well-known players in the sport.

Bassett started playing netball at a young age and showed exceptional talent from an early age. She made her debut for the Perth Orioles in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy in 2005 and was selected to represent the Western Australian state team in the National Netball League in 2006.

Bassett’s international career began in 2008 when she was selected to represent the Australian Diamonds at the World Netball Series in Manchester, England. She was then named in the Australian squad for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, where she helped the Diamonds win the gold medal.
