Chaz Mostert is an Australian racing driver who currently competes in the Supercars Championship for the Walkinshaw Andretti United team. He was born on April 10, 1992, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Mostert started his racing career in go-karts at the age of nine and quickly progressed through the ranks, winning numerous state and national championships. He made his car racing debut in 2008 in the Australian Formula Ford Championship, finishing sixth overall in his first season.
In 2011, Mostert moved up to the Dunlop Series (now known as the Super2 Series) and won the championship in his debut season. His success caught the eye of the Dick Johnson Racing team, who signed him as a co-driver for the 2013 endurance races in the Supercars Championship.
Mostert made his full-time Supercars debut in 2014 with the Ford Performance Racing team (now known as Tickford Racing). He had a breakout year in 2015, winning the Bathurst 1000 with co-driver Cameron Waters and finishing third in the championship.
Mostert has been a consistent front-runner in the Supercars Championship since then, earning multiple race wins and podiums. He joined the Walkinshaw Andretti United team in 2020, where he currently competes alongside driver Bryce Fullwood.
