Delta Goodrem is an Australian singer, songwriter, and actress who was born on November 9, 1984, in Sydney, Australia. She began her career as a child actress, appearing in several television shows, before transitioning to music in the early 2000s.

Goodrem released her debut album, “Innocent Eyes,” in 2003, which became one of the highest-selling albums in Australian history. The album spawned several hit singles, including “Born to Try,” “Lost Without You,” and “Innocent Eyes.” She has since released several more albums, including “Mistaken Identity,” “Delta,” and “Wings of the Wild.”

Goodrem has won numerous awards for her music, including 16 ARIA Awards (Australian Recording Industry Association Awards) and the World Music Award for Best Selling Australian Female Artist.

In addition to her music career, Goodrem has also acted in several Australian television shows and films, including the soap opera “Neighbours” and the film “Hating Alison Ashley.”

Goodrem is also known for her philanthropic work. She is an ambassador for several charitable organizations, including the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which supports seriously ill children and their families, and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre, which is dedicated to cancer research and patient care.
