Hamish Blake is an Australian comedian, writer, actor, and TV and radio personality. He was born on December 11, 1981, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Blake is best known for being one half of the comedy duo Hamish and Andy, alongside his long-time friend and collaborator, Andy Lee.
Blake and Lee have worked together for over two decades, creating and starring in numerous TV shows, radio programs, and live comedy tours. They have won multiple awards for their work, including five Logie Awards for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television and three People’s Choice Awards for Australia’s Favourite Comedy Show.
Outside of his work with Hamish and Andy, Blake has also appeared in various other TV shows and movies, including the Australian comedy series, “True Story with Hamish & Andy,” and the comedy film, “The Lego Batman Movie.”
Blake is also a regular contributor to Australian radio, hosting a show on the Hit Network with his Hamish and Andy co-star. In addition to his entertainment work, Blake is involved in various philanthropic endeavors, supporting causes such as the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which provides support and entertainment to seriously ill children and their families.
