Ryan Fitzgerald

Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald is an Australian radio and television personality. He was born on November 19, 1976, in Adelaide, Australia. Fitz, as he is popularly known, first gained national attention as a contestant on the Australian reality TV show Big Brother in 2004.

Fitz began his career as a footballer playing for the Adelaide Crows and the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League. However, after suffering a series of injuries, he retired from football and turned to a career in media. He started out as a panelist on Network Ten’s sports-based game show, Before the Game.

In 2011, Fitzy joined Nova 96.9 radio station in Sydney, where he co-hosted the breakfast show Fitzy and Wippa with fellow radio personality Michael Wipfli. The show has been a huge success and has consistently ranked in the top 3 breakfast shows in Sydney.

In addition to his radio career, Fitzy has also made numerous appearances on Australian television shows. He has been a regular guest on The Project, and has also made appearances on Have You Been Paying Attention?, Hughesy, We Have a Problem, and The Masked Singer Australia.

Fitzy is known for his quick wit and comedic talent, and has won several awards for his contributions to the Australian media industry. He has also used his platform to raise awareness for various charitable causes, including the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.
